Program protects and promotes the health, safety, and well being of children in licensed care facilities. Officers issue licenses, monitor and inspect facilities, respond to complaints and investigate allegations of unsafe, inappropriate or abusive care in licensed facilities.

Program assists families requiring child care, preschool, or out-of-school care for their children ages 0-19 years. These children may have extra support needs, a developmental delay or disorder and would benefit from additional services.
