“The Nuts: Bedtime at the Nut House”

By Eric Litwin

“It was time for bed. The day was done. But hazel and Wally were still up having fun.”

Do you ever experience having a hard time trying to get your children to wind down and to get to bed? The Nuts: Bedtime at the Nut House may leave you with some reassurance that you are not alone as Mama Nut goes through the all too familiar bedtime battle with her own two little nuts. It is bedtime at the Nut house, but Wally and Hazel are not yet ready to go to sleep, and instead they ignore Mama Nut and keep singing and playing. After several ignored requests from Mama Nut to go to bed, it is not until she gives them “the look” that they finally settle in to their beds. Give this book a try as a bedtime story to help your kids understand the importance of following routine and schedules, while also enjoying the nutty illustrations and sing-song story.

Check out this fun fact sheet created by the book’s author for some great tips on how to get your little ones ready for bed!
