It’s Friday! Take advantage of the weather – looks like we’re in for a bit of rain.

Thinking about your child’s reading readiness? Check out this wonderful little video,Welcome to Kindergarten  from the Burnaby Public Library. Librarians share simple tips on how to encourage your little one’s reading like, letting your child choose what to read.

The library has also compiled a recommended booklist for getting ready for kindergarten – lots of great ebooks and remember, they are now offering paper bag pick up for hard copies.
